About the Business

In 2005, the company’s senior management team – Kevin Phillips and Sean Fannon purchased the company from Nash and Warren. Although it isn’t under the original management, the two business owners continued to grow the business, whilst always honouring the Nash Warren philosophy of putting the client’s needs first and foremost. This includes sourcing the best value for money at the point of sale and providing outstanding customer service throughout the duration of the policy. We have always remained independently owned, meaning that our clients can enjoy a personal touch which is not present within larger corporations.

With over 30 years’ experience, Nash Warren now boasts a team of over 15 dedicated staff who all work to provide our customers with the best possible service. We have expanded to incorporate an office in Spain and a commercial arm, meaning that we’re in the perfect position to assist with any business insurance queries or requirements our clients have.

We intend to continue to grow and expand our business, whilst remaining faithful to our principles and building success through providing the best customer service and value for money on the market.

The key pillar to successful business is trust. Trust that you or your partners will do the right thing when the time comes.

So then, What do you do when a company breaks that trust?

Nash Warren has broken that trust.

My father has been a successful motor trader; for the past 30 years, and a Nash Warren customer for over 20. Over the past year, however, he has sadly contracted terminal pancreatic cancer, and despite all of our efforts, unfortunately passed away in April 2024.

Every one of Dad’s suppliers, partners and contractors, have been nothing but wonderful and helpful.

Every last one. Except from Nash Warren.

I spent the best part of three hours trying to get through to someone. The phone goes dead. I spend another hour on hold and eventually get through to somebody who informs me that they need a copy of the death certificate which I provide immediately via email.

Once they receive the certificate, they tell me that they are unwilling to transfer the policy into my name to ensure the continuity of business. They said I would need to cancel the policy and then take out a new policy. Building and business insurance, with other companies, both transferred immediately into my name without any extra costs.

I then instructed them to cancel the policy. It has been over a week with no news. No phone calls no letters no emails.

After spending yet another 2 1/2 hours today trying to get through to somebody, I was then told that we are waiting on the third-party underwriter. When I queried how long this would take, I was told that they had no idea it might be next week. It might be longer. They weren’t willing to chase the underwriter. I find this to be wholly unacceptable. This is leaving my family in a state of limbo that is distressing, frustrating and overall disappointing.

If you can’t trust your insurance company to do the right thing, when the chips are down and everything has gone wrong, when can you?

Please avoid Nash Warren Insurance. 20 years of my father’s loyalty to them clearly means nothing. Imagine if your family was putting in the position of mine. Would you really want your family to suffer like I have?
