About the Business
With over 25 years experience providing quality insurance products, we still use the same principles in our business today that we began with in 1985. And they still work. Started by James Roger Stephens more than 25 years ago to provide insurance services to the Perranporth community we began with nothing more than a single office and a filing cabinet. Over the years our business has steadily grown and today our clientele ranges from individuals to small and large businesses in the local community and far beyond.
Our friendly and knowledgeable staff are here to help you with your insurance needs. We invest heavily in their ongoing development and training so that they are up to date with the latest changes in the industry. We recognise a business is only as good as its staff which is why we aim to make ours the best. Put simply, we always strive to treat our customers how we would wish to be treated ourselves.

I have used J. R. Stephens insurance since the very early days of it’s beginning and l have always found the staff very helpful with all aspects of my insurance requirements and my close family have also been very satisfied with the services they offer and very polite and pleasant staff to deal with on the phone or face to face. Nothing is too much trouble for them and we have not been pressured or under obligation to take out insurances that do not suit us.
