About the Business
Brighton Insurance Group is the name for the combined operations of D.F. Edmonds & Co and Grant Smith. D.F.Edmonds & Co was founded in 1972 and was acquired by Alan Hemsley and Kevin Clark when Doug Edmonds retired in 1999. Alan and Kevin have been with the company for a combined total of over 50 years. Grant Smith was founded in 1972 by Robin Smith and in 2007 joined forces with D.F.Edmonds & Co to form the Brighton Insurance Group.
Since 1972 both companies have built a reputation for offering an informed and professional service to industrial, commercial and personal clients in Brighton and throughout the UK. Our staff continue to provide a high level of customer service and advice and we are always available to discuss any aspect of your insurance requirements whether you choose to call in to our newly refurbished offices or telephone.
