About the Business
Like many or most people in the insurance industry I found insurance {or it found me} by pure chance - in my case a game of Badminton was to blame when I was asked to make up a four one day. I was offered an office junior role for a brokerage and the rest, as they say, is history!
My career took a course of Office Manager to Area Manager for a 10 branch high street brokerage business and, having served my apprenticeship, after 15 years I decided to start my own business from scratch.
The journey in the first year or two was hazardous and included relocation as well as a new computer system, so I really went for the whole package of changes! Around four years in to having my own brokerage I started to look at the needs and in many cases lack of opportunities offered to personal lines biased brokers and how in many ways they had somewhat been forgotten or left behind the commercial or larger businesses.
